The owner was absolutely incredible, going above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. The food was mind-blowingly delicious, the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The peacefulness of the location and the comfortable beds made for a truly unforgettable stay. We can't wait to come back again!

I had the most amazing stay in the treehouse with a stunning view of Lion's Rock! It was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. The host, Berty, was incredibly friendly and helpful, arranging transport for us and providing great recommendations for exploring the area. The homemade, local food served at the hotel was absolutely delicious and definitely a highlight of the trip.
While the treehouse was a fantastic experience, it is important to note that there were quite a few insects in the room. The roof and walls were not completely sealed, so we did encounter some bugs and even mice scurrying around.

The treehouses at this secluded retreat offer stunning views of the lion rock. The host was caring and the meals were delicious. The owner, Berty, provided great suggestions for local attractions and even took us on a tour of the Polonnaruwa ruins.
Felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay, with no reason to complain.

We had an amazing time at this treehouse! The view of the Sigiriya rock and the surrounding vegetable and banana fields was breathtaking. It truly felt like we were in the jungle, with the peacefulness only disrupted by the sounds of birds and occasional monkeys. Wimale and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner that we couldn't get enough of. The cleanliness of the treehouse was impeccable, and the owner's craftsmanship in building it was evident. The hotel facilities were well-maintained and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, offering bike rentals, transportation, and tours to nearby attractions. The location, just outside the bustling area, allowed us to enjoy the tranquility of nature while still being close enough to enjoy the sights. We highly recommend this place for a unique and memorable experience!
Nothing not to love.

The double room we stayed in at Sigiri Sarilco Rock View Treehouse was amazing! It had a balcony where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views. The room also had soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. It felt like our own little private oasis, and we couldn't have asked for more as a family.
The only downside was that some units had a terrace instead of a balcony. Personally, I preferred having a balcony, but I understand that others might still find enjoyment in a terrace.

We stayed at the beautiful Sigiri Sarilco Treehouse for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The treehouse provided a unique and unforgettable experience, with stunning views of Sigiriya Rock and the surrounding vegetable and banana fields. The remote location made for a peaceful and relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle. Berty, the owner, was incredibly helpful and took care of all our activities at a reasonable price. He even cooked us delicious meals, catering to our dietary needs. The whole place was clean and tidy, although you can expect the occasional bug in a treehouse. We even had a bat visit one night, which was quite an experience!
Would recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the treehouse villa surrounded by nature. the rooms on stilts offered breathtaking views of the Sirigiya Rock and the electric storm. Our families, including the teenage girls, loved the unique experience. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even set up a wifi hub for the girls to communicate. the lake fish curry for supper was absolutely delicious, and the hoppers for breakfast were a delightful treat. the basic yet clean facilities and comfortable mattresses provided a good night's sleep. We were so glad we chose to stay here, and it will be a memorable experience for all of us. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 👌.
